Yoga Saturdays, upcoming classes, events and gallery shows!

No to overwhelm you but we have a lot of exciting things happening soon!

Yoga with the amazing Katy Jung has been moved to Saturday mornings from 10:30-12:00. Get your weekend started right with hot flow yoga!

Audiovisual performance from folk singer SOFIA TALVIK (http://www.sofiatalvik.com/) this Fridayat 7 pm sharp. She’ll be sharing a video project to accompany her songs. 7-9pm,  Sliding scale with a $10 suggested donation (but as always please don’t let cost keep you from seeing amazing art). This show should fill up fast, so please come early to ensure you get a seat!

Classes! Also on Saturday we’re continuing our informal sliding scale class series with a Handmade Paper Valentines Class from 2-4 pm and next Saturday February 18th we’ll be teachingIntroduction to Screen-printing from 2-4 pm. Both of these classes are $5-35 sliding scale. More music coming up this month (every week it seems!) with Names Divine on 2/16 at 7 pm (http://namesdivine.com/) and the Tuscaloosa New Music Collective on March 2nd at 7pm!

The talented sculptor Michael Bonadio (formerly a resident artist at Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham) will be sharing his work in March in the gallery with an opening reception on March 1st. Keep tuned for more details and if you haven’t been in to see our Love Mail Art Show you should come on by during craft night Wednesdays 6-8 pm.

We just opened our February show of mail art with the theme of love. We received many postcards from around the world (the first two we received were from Spain and France) and had a lovely opening reception last Thursday with a “make your own mail art/valentine” station, red wine, and lots of candy hearts.
